If my son will kindly find you a chair, I hope you will visit for a bit. ” Pathik hopped off the bed and brought three battered metal chairs from where they were lined up against the far wall. He stationed one close to the head of Malgam’s bed, and placed the other two at the foot. He gestured to Rachel to take a seat in the one closest to Malgam. Indigo and Nandy settled in the remaining two chairs, and Pathik stood behind Nandy.
